Sobranie - Elegance as Top Priority
From nicely-colored cigarettes especially designed for women to brown, imperial varieties, Sobranie advertises high-end cigarettes for people who know the difference between a good product and a perfect one. In this context, imperial is not a metaphor: for decades in the last century, this was the official brand of many royal courts, like those of Spain, Greece, and Romania.
The top-end class cigarettes sold by Sobranie refer mainly to two types: Sobranie Cocktail and Sobranie Black Russian.
Sobranie Cocktail
First, it's the design. When you open the pack, you can see 20 cigarettes colored in five different shades: light blue, crimson red, pastel magenta, yellow, and light green. The filter is wrapped in a gold foil, which adds both distinction and elegance to the cigarette. The pack itself is a mixture of pastels and has the Russian eagle blazon on it.
Second, it's the taste: a light, yet a bit pungent combination of excellent aroma and soft smoke. Due to this spectacular taste, few smokers choose a different brand if they can afford this one.
Sobranie Black Russian
Based on the same principle, Sobranie Black Russian cigarettes are covered with a golden foil that has the same shade as the one used for filters. However, the cigarettes themselves are dark brown to suggest a leaf of tobacco. In addition, the Russian blazon is visible on each filter and on the pack.
These cigarettes are stronger (tar 0.9 mg, nicotine 0.8 mg) and have been designed for heavy smokers, interested in a full-bodied aroma and a filling taste.
Both these varieties come at a greater price than most cigarettes on the market, but the difference in quality and standards is obvious. So they can be also smoked occasionally if you want to make a good impression at a party or if you simply want to enjoy a special taste on a Sunday evening.
